About

From the Principal

At Good News Lutheran College (GNLC), we appreciate and care about every student. We are blessed to have beautiful grounds and modern facilities. However, it is our supportive and nurturing approach to mentoring and guiding students that sets us apart.

At GNLC, we aim to support every student in discovering their passion and purpose by providing broad opportunities and discovering what makes them thrive. We endeavour to create compelling and fulfilling experiences that ignite academic curiosity, promote ethical behaviour, and equip students with the necessary skills to cope with the ever-changing future. We believe in fostering a community that embodies our College values of Grace, Respect, Integrity, and Courage, which we hope our students will continue to emulate in their daily lives.

Our College is proud to provide the International Baccalaureate curriculum framework in Years P to 12 and the VCE in Years 10 to 12. This combination offers students a highly regarded academic program. Additionally, through a focus on international mindedness, we encourage students to recognise and respect the diverse cultures that make up our community.

Our dedicated and passionate teachers are committed to equipping students to pursue their dreams. The College is proud of every student and celebrates their individual achievements. We take great pride in Creating Success Together in honour of our loving creator, God.

The responsibility entrusted to us by parents is taken seriously and we appreciate the great honour we are given to impact the lives of each student.

Good News Lutheran College acknowledges that our loving Creator God
first gave the land on which we are placed to the peoples of the First Nations, who have walked and cared for this land since before recorded time. We thank God for the land’s Traditional Custodians and pay our respects to Elders as we travel this journey of reconciliation in Australia.
