Each year begins full of hope and excitement. Then something happens. Do you know who to contact? Do you want to know what happens next?
As students change, so do their feelings and challenges. Our Junior Years teachers are experts in understanding child development in the age ranges they teach. They can tell you if your child's experience is normal and they can share their observations with you. They desire to partner with you before frustration sets in.
Some common concerns of parents include the following:
- My child says they have no friends.
- When I ask my child what they did at school, they say "Nothing".
- How do I know if my child is making expected progress?
- My child says another child is bothering/bullying them.
You can model the Learner Profile attribute of Kindness by talking with us about situation rather than discussing it with other parents. All children make mistakes and face challenges. In line with our Child Safety policy, it is important that we maintain confidentiality and carefully consider the emotional vulnerability of all involved. We thank you for partnering with us in your child's education.
